June 7: Qatar Airways, the national airline of the State of Qatar, welcomed a group of guests to Kathmandu on June 7, to enjoy a business class meal-tasting event showcasing the airline’s exquisite culinary menu.

In the event, Vincent Coste, Vice President of Qatar Airways for Indian Sub-continent says, “Nepal is an important market for us, and Kathmandu as an emerging city is growing with flourishing businesses, the presence of embassies and a growing number of IT professionals. As an airline providing the best in business class, Qatar Airways is well-poised to deliver its world-class and personable signature services both on-board and on the ground to all passengers to and from Nepal.”

Issuing a press release, the airways informed that guests were treated with Qatar Airways’ business class delicacies such as ‘Broccoli and Almond Soup’ and ‘Stuffed Paneer with Pistachio and Coriander’.  At the event, guests were gifted with the airways’ exclusively designed and award-winning Giorgio Armani fragrance and beauty amenity kits including Acqua di Gio, Armani pur Homme and Armani skincare products.

The company informed that the airways flies three flights a day to Kathmandu from its hub in Doha and connects the city to more than 150 destinations around the globe. With an average connection time of just 90 inutes via Hamad International Airport, passengers travelling from Nepal can expect a smooth and seamless journey to their final destination via Doha.
