<p style="text-align:justify">Some cable TV operators have mentioned the ministry that the lack of infrastructures in the main metropolitan and sub-metropolitan areas as the major reason for the delay in digitisation process. The ministry, meanwhile, has also agreed on the issue and has extended the deadline of digitization by June.</p>

As per the new decision, licenses of the companies who have presented their work plans will be renewed as digital licenses.
