Customers of the bank can now deposit the remittances they receive directly into the savings account. “We have launched the new service with an objective to develop saving habits among customers with which they can deposit their hard earned money received as remittances,” the bank said issuing a press statement.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">With the introduction of the new service, money send through remittances will be directly deposited in remittance account of customers. “Such amount can be easily withdrawn from all branches and ATM counters of Global IME,” reads the statement. Similarly, the deposited amounts are subjected to certain interest rate. “Global IME has been providing remittance transactions with priority in coordination with banks and exchange houses of different countries like UAE, Qatar, Baharain, India, Malaysia, South Korea and Australia since its establishment,” says the bank.</p>
