'content' => '<p>December 29: In a bid to promote Renewal Energy Technologies in Nepal to battle the energy crisis being faced by the citizens, Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) under the Ministry of Population and Environment is organising 'Renewal Energy Exhibition 2016' from January 1-3 in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.</p>
<p>The expo is going to be organised under the slogan, "Renewal Energy for Energy Security" with an objective of creating awareness about renewal energy among the general public as an effective alternative to address the present energy crisis.</p>
<p>The visitors would also get knowledge about the Nepal government initiated subsidy and soft loan provision for urban solar, waste to energy programme, and household gasification technology.</p>
<p>A total of 125 stalls related to renewal energy technologies like hydropower, solar energy, biogas, wind energy, improved cooking stove and renewal energy related projects done by the students would be put on display in the expo.</p>
<p>Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the event amidst a function on January 1 at 1:00 pm.</p>
<p>The organizer has managed free entrance for the visitors. RSS</p>
