According to NTA , lesser number of people used the internet in the month of Jestha (mid May-mid June) than in the previous month (Baisakh ). This is an anomaly as the number has been increasing every month for the last few years, officials say.</p>

According to authority, as of mid April, there were 11.48 million Internet users in Nepal. However, the figure declined by 48 thousand the following month.<br />
Digamber Jha Chairman of NTA said, “The figures showed a 10 to 15 percent decline in the number of users. We can’t believe this."</p>
