President’s Call for Majority Govt
After efforts to install a consensus government failed, President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on February 3 called on the parties represented in the Legislature Parliament to start the process of forming a majority government. In a statement issued by the Office of the President, the President cited Article 38 (2) of Interim Constitution 2063 in support of his announcement.
