Results Out
Tribhuvan University has published the results of Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) third year-2069. The exam of both BA third year and BBS third year were held on Magha-Falgun 2069. Out of 22,081 students who appeared in the exams 8,367 passed in BA III year while 16, 352 passed BBS third year out of 43,940 who appeared.
 
Similarly, Tribhuvan University has also published the result of Masters of Education (M.Ed) second year 2068. The examination of M.Ed second year was held on Marg-Poush-2069. Out of 16,283 who appeared in the exam, 5,772 have passed the exam.  
 
TBC to sponsor National Boxing Competition
The British College (TBC) signed an agreement with Boxing Association of Nepal to sponsor the men’s and women’s national boxing competition.  According to the agreement, the college will provide Rs 0.3 million to the Association. A five days long competition will be held from December 24 to December 28, informed BAN.
 
Talk Session @ KUSOM
A talk session was held at the Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) in Balkumari on November 4. The programme was titled ‘Branding—Prabal Gurung’, and elicited basic tips and pointers from the high-fashion guru on how to effectively brand fashion creations, and boost the local industry. In the event, Gurung shared his experience, struggles and challenges to achieve success.
 
One-day Seminar @ NCA
National College of Accountancy (NCA) organised one day seminar on November 8 in the premises of the college. The NCA organized the seminar to provide information to the future students about the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) course. NCA is the only institution to receive ‘gold-status’ approved learning partner student training (AALP-ST) certificate from ACCA. 
Speaking at the event, President of the college Balram Paudel said, “The ACCA programme offers opportunity for employment.”  Students and ACCA members and former students participated in the programme.
 
Aryans Tech Fest
The two days “Aryans Tech Fest” organized by Aryans Group of Colleges concluded on Saturday November 9 with a startling performance given by noted Bollywood Singer Kamal Khan. Heavy rush was witnessed to see the performance of Kamal Khan who specially came from Mumbai to perform in the Fest. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the event. Around 10,000 students as well as farmers, academicians, researchers, professionals etc participated in the two-days Techno Cultural Symposium. Job Fest, Industrial Training Fest, Science Fest, Solar Fest, Robo Fest, Agro Fest, IT Fest etc. were the main attractions of the Fest. The Job Fest drew huge crowd as more than 35 companies were on recruitment spree. A total of 157 out of 1612 candidates were shortlisted for different profiles by these Companies. For Industrial Training, 112 students were shortlisted by around 20 Companies. In Science Fest, the first prize was bagged by Lomas Rishi Public School, while C.M. Public School stood second and for the third prize there was a tie between Patel Public school & Govt. Co Ed Sr. Secondary (NTC) Rajpura. The students showcased their talent and innovative ideas in Science Fest through their creative projects.
