The 2015 US Diversity Visa lottery programme is all set to start from October 1st, Tuesday. According to a press release by the US Embassy in Kathmandu, the application period for the DV programme will open at noon, Eastern Standard Time (EST), October 1st and closes at noon, Eastern Standard Time, November 2nd, 2013. The embassy urged the DV entrants to apply early. “The US Embassy reminds applicants that there is NO FEE to enter the DV lottery,” says the release. The embassy recommends against using a consultant to assist entrants with their applications. The release suggested the entrants to consider using their family member, friend or other trusted person, in case if they need assistance. “No matter who provides assistance, you are solely responsible for your own application,” states the embassy. </div>

The release informed that the entries for the DV-2015 Diversity Visa lottery to be submitted electronically during the registration period. “Applicants may access the electronic Diversity Visa entry form (E-DV) at www.dvlottery.state.gov during the registration period,” says the release. The embassy also informed the entrants to list their spouse and unmarried children under age od 21 at the time of application. “Submissions without the inclusion of these family members will invalidate your entry. You may submit only one application. Duplicates will disqualify you from being selected,” the embassy further states. </div>',
