<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Black cardamom topped the list of exported items. A total of 800 metric tonnes of black cardamom worth Rs 3.94 billion was exported in the review period. The black cardamom produced in Nepal is exported to India, Bangladesh and Russia, according to senior agronomist Devindra Shahu. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Besides black cardamom, tea, lentil, ginger, medicinal herbs, plywood, wild garlic etc were exported in considerable amount. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Shahu said soybean topped the list of import from this customs point. Seventy metric tons of soybean worth Rs 3.80 billion was imported from Bangladesh. The soybean is mostly used as livestock feed. </span><br />
