According to the code of conduct, students found bunking classes, smoking and drinking in school uniform will be fined Rs 500 to Rs 5000 and can be restricted from giving board exams. </div>

Nirvana Wellness Centre organized a Healthy Schools Seminar on Child Health on 20th July with a view to raise awareness about Children’s Health. Representatives from various schools and New Parents were present in the event. The programme focused on different aspects of child health with a series of presentations and interactions from Child Health Experts. Programme was emphasized on the fact that a balanced diet and active lifestyle plays a key role in a child being healthy. With its motto, Health and Beyond, Nirvana Wellness Centre says to continue to organize healthy living seminars in the future for a Healthy Society.</div>

<strong>TU to Improve its Exam Process </strong></div>

With a new education calendar that features admission details and examination routine, the examination process in Tribhuwan University is to be improved. The calendar is to be published within a week or two from now. According to Shankar Bhandari, Acting Examination Controller at the TU Examination Controller Department, the new calendar is including students’ admission time, curriculum, exam routine, and details on the publication of results. This is being done to end the current delay in examinations and announcement of results. </div>

Likewise, according to the Examination Controller Office, the TU staff will be working from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm to announce results on time and their salary too will be increased accordingly. </div>

Himalayan White House College is organising its second ‘Inter College B-Fiesta 2013’. The fiesta is being held on August 16 and 17 in Trade Tower, Thapathali and is a competition among Bachelors and Masters Students of Management. According to Yubraj Ghimire, CEO of White House College, the fiesta is a medium to explore talent within management students. “Students will be awarded according to their skills and talent,” he says. There will be a Management Quiz, Arts and Fashion Show and other competitions regarding management. </div>
