<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Issuing a statement on Friday, IPPAN Chair Krishna Prasad Acharya expressed hope that the agreement between Nepal and India would add a new dimension to the country's electricity trade and would further consolidate mutual relations between Nepal and India. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Stating that the meeting has created a base for Nepal to export power up to Bangladesh, IPPAN said such an agreement would play an important role in the development of electricity in the country. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">IPPAN further said that the decisions taken by the meeting would help promote investment in the energy sector and big projects as well as transmission lines and also improve inter-state energy trade. </span></span></span><br />
