<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">The post was lying vacant since August 24 after the resignation of the then CEO Chandra Singh Saud over a row related to the purchase of shares of Sarvottam Cement against the rules.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">Saud had reiterated that he did not breach any law but tendered his resignation to facilitate the investigation process.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">Altogether 11 aspirants had applied for the post of NEPSE’s CEO after Saud stepped down.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">Karki, a resident of Palpa, holds a bachelor's degree in economics and public administration. </span></span></p>
