The exhibition is scheduled to be held from October 29 to November 1 at Jawlakhel Sports Ground. The flower expo is being organized by Floriculture Association Nepal with support from the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, Directorate of Agriculture Development, Floriculture Development Center, Bagmati Province.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The expo is being organized on the occasion of Tihar festival, during which the trade of flowers is highest. The association hopes that the event would help revive the flower business that has been hampered greatly by the Covid-19 pandemic.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The entrance fee has been fixed at Rs 100 for the general public and Rs 50 for students. The organisers are expecting more than 35,000 people to visit the exhibition. The association is hopeful of transaction of flowers worth Rs 5 million during the exhibition, said Bishwa Mani Pokharel, general secretary of the association.</span></span></p>
