A meeting of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday also decided provide Rs 300,000 to the families that have lost more than one member to the disaster, informed Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Similarly, households with five members who have lost their house in the flood or landslide would be provided Rs 15,000 immediately. In case of more than five family members, the family would get Rs 20,000. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Likewise, those injured in the disasters would be provided treatment free of cost. The concerned ministries have been directed to collect details of the loss and damages occurred in various parts of the country due to the unprecedented rainfall that has occurred since the last few days. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">All government bodies at federal, province and local levels have been asked to step up rescue and relief works. Similarly, the government thanked those involved voluntarily in the rescue works. -- RSS </span><br />
