Sutlej Hydropower Company has set up a subsidiary named SJBN Arun III Hydropower Development Company in Nepal to carry out the construction works of the project.</span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">As per the decision, the board has approved the promoters of the 900-megawatt Arun III hydropower project based in Sankhuwasabha district to make an additional investment of Rs 62.26 billion in the project. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">The project is being undertaken by the Sutlej Hydropower Company owned by the Government of India. Sutlej Hydropower Company has set up a subsidiary named SJBN Arun III Hydropower Development Company in Nepal to carry out the construction works of the project.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Altogether six banks of Nepal and India have already invested Rs 101.6 billion for the project and still requires additional investment.</span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">The project is being undertaken by the Sutlej Hydropower Company owned by the Government of India. Sutlej Hydropower Company has set up a subsidiary named SJBN Arun III Hydropower Development Company in Nepal to carry out the construction works of the project.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Altogether six banks of Nepal and India have already invested Rs 101.6 billion for the project and still requires additional investment.</span></span></span></p>
