<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">A single bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana ordered the concerned parties to furnish the details regarding the appointment but refused to issue an interim order or a show cause notice. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">The Supreme Court noted that the petitioner Hitendra Dev Shakya has been appointed as a specialist member in the Water and Energy Commission as per the decision of the Council of Ministers to give him the post of deputy executive.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">“From the current status, the petitioner does not seem to have been removed from his post thus an interim order is not deemed necessary,” the SC’s statement read. </span><br />
