‘No other maker can make better Windows phone than Nokia.’ This argument in the technology sector seems to be quite true if we look at the Nokia’s Windows smartphone lineup. Initiated by the huge success of critically acclaimed Lumia 800 and Lumia 920, Nokia is back-with-a-bang with another Windows Smartphone - Lumia 920.

Nokia Lumia 920

Constructed from a single piece of polycarbonate, the Lumia 920 measures 5.12 inches tall, 2.7 inches wide, and 0.42 inches thick. The 4.5-inch screen is framed by a bezel that houses the three capacitive Windows buttons (back, home, and search) and curves neatly into the body. The physical buttons (volume, power, camera) are ceramic and are all located on the right-hand side. The 4.5-inch high-contrast IPS (In-Plane Switching) display that Nokia calls PureMotions HD+, sealed in a coating of Gorilla Glass 2 is really rocking. Capable of deep blacks, rich colors, and sharp text, the display’s pixel density is 332 ppi. Images are crisp, text is pleasant to read, and videos look amazing. Not only does the Lumia 920 provide a stellar viewing experience on an expansive screen, but it is also capable of great visibility in sunlight, and the Synaptics-powered capacitive touchscreen can respond to gloved fingertips, as well as fingernails and some pens. The touchscreen of the 920 is impressively responsive as well.

With a dual-core Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 2000mAh battery, the Lumia 920 is loaded with solid specs. Gaming, office works and internet surfing users can get amazing experience using this Windows 8 OS smartphone. It does lack expandable storage, but Microsoft throws in an additional 7GB of cloud storage for all new SkyDrive accounts. The smartphone also houses NFC capabilities, Bluetooth 3.0, and built-in Qi wireless charging.

According to Nokia, Lumia 920 is capable of 9 hours of talk time, 52 hours of music playback, 5 hours of video playback, and 2.6 hours of video recording.
