Minister of State for Health Umesh Shrestha said that 513,420 doses of vaccines have been received and another 500,000 doses would be delivered on Sunday.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">According to Jhalak Sharma Gautam, head of the vaccination center under the Department of Health Services, the government has decided to vaccinate people above the age of 65 who have received the first dose of vaccine. They will be receiving the second dose from Monday. The vaccination would be conducted from the same vaccination centers from where they received the shots previously.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The government had vaccinated people above the age of 65 from March 7 to March 16 earlier this year. Gautam said that although AstraZeneca and Covishield were produced in different places, both the vaccines are of the same nature and can be administered in each other’s place.</span></span></p>
