<p><span style="font-size:10pt"><span style="font-family:Times"><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Bangla MN"">Shiva Shankar Sah, president of Province-2 chapter of FNCCI, had initially filed a complaint with the District Administration Office, Kathmandu seeking annulment of the AGM as well as election arguing that the meeting was being held against the established norms and statute of the organisation. He later filed the writ petition at the apex court stating that the DAO did not respond to his complaint.</span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:10pt"><span style="font-family:Times"><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Bangla MN"">The Supreme Court had called for a hearing on the petition on Thursday (November 26), which coincided with the inauguration of the AGM.</span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:10pt"><span style="font-family:Times"><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Bangla MN"">In the initial hearing, a single bench of Justice Purushottam Bhandari refused to issue an interim order to halt the AGM and instead sought clarification from the defendant.</span></span></span></span></p>
