A press statement issued by the bank says the key highlight of the MOU is that DKC shall provide employment and loans to Nepalese individuals in Japan based on referrals of NMB Bank.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The MOU also covers facilitating Foreign Currency Deposits and remittances for NRNs from Japan to Nepal. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Mobuyuki Nitta, chief director of DKC, and Sunil KC, CEO of NMB Bank, signed the MoU during the 3<sup>rd</sup> Asia Pacific Chapter Meeting of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) held recently in Kochi, India.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">NMB Bank and DKC are members of GABV wherein both institutions are driven by value-based banking principal at the core of their business models. </span></span></span></p>
