The Public Debt Management Department of the central bank is about to auction the T-Bills to manage internal loan for the government.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The department has announced anyone interested to purchase the T-Bills to submit sealed quotations within 3 pm today (September 9). The central bank will be issuing T-Bills worth Rs 2.26 billion with a maturity period of 91 days and another Rs 2 billion with maturity period of 364 days.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The 91-day T-Bills will mature on December 10 while the 364-day T-Bills will mature on September 8 next year.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The central bank had issued a tender notice for the treasury bills on September 2.</span></span></p>
