<span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">During the meeting, China had assured to allow Nepali airline companies to operate flights to eight additional destinations in China. Among the eight new destinations, Himalaya Airlines has decided to operate flights to Beijing, Nanchang, Shanxi, and Guiyang. </span></span></p>

<span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Currently, Chinese airline companies are operating more than 50 flights to Nepal every week. However, Nepali airlines have not been permitted to fly to China so far. </span></span></p>

<span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation informed New Business Age that the government has permitted Chinese airlines to operate flights to Pokhara and Bhairahawa. </span></span></p>

For this, the airlines will bring in the Airbus 319 before October,” said Bijay Shrestha, vice chairman of Himalaya Airlines. Himalaya airlines currently flies to Dhaka, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Dammam. </span></span></p>

However, it has not received the permit because the flag carrier of Nepal has not carried out safety audit of its aircraft. </span></span></p>
