May 13: Nepal Furniture and Furnishing Association (NFFA) is organizing the 7<sup>th</sup> edition of Furniture and Furnishing Expo (FURNEX) at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in the capital from September 11 to 15.</p>

The NFFA said in a press conference that the five-day expo will feature products including carpets, curtains, mattresses, decorating items, home décor, furniture, home appliances, machineries and different equipment.</p>
<p>
According to Rupesh Pradhan, president of the association, the expo will help the visitors to know about traditional and modern furniture. The organizers informed that the expo will showcase products in 150 stalls.</p>
<p>
The transaction of furniture and furnishing market of Nepal stands at Rs 40 billion annually. International brands have taken around 50 percent of the furniture and furnishing market of Nepal, according to NFFA. </p>
