April 21: The third edition of the ‘Himalayan Travel Mart’ is set to be organised at Soaltee Crown Plaza in the capital from June 6 to 9. The event is being organized by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) along with Nepal Chapter of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and different stakeholders of the tourism sector.</p>
<p>
The four-day event is being organized with an objective to improve the overall tourism of Nepal by promoting the country as a Himalayan and adventurous destination.</p>
<p>
The previous edition of the event helped to promote the tourism sector of Nepal in the international arena, informed Sunil Shakya, president of Nepal chapter of PATA.</p>
<p>
Likewise, Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of NTB, said that the event will also help to promote ‘Visit Nepal 2020’ in the international market. The business-to-business mart will attract tourism stakeholders from Himalayan countries under one roof, said the organizers.</p>

According to Suresh Singh Budal, CEO of Nepal chapter of PATA, sellers from Nepal, India, Pakistan, Tibet (China) and Bhutan will participate in the event. Likewise, buyers from Europe, America, Australia, Russia, Asia, the Gulf and Commonwealth countries will participate in the event. </p>
