Almost all the hotels in major tourism destinations like Sauraha, Meghauli and Patihani are currently occupied with internal tourists. According to the hotel entrepreneurs of Chitwan, the number of internal tourists is double the number international tourists.</p>

Entrepreneurs told New Business Age that the number of internal tourists has increased with the arrival of the New Year. Founder of Sauraha’s Sapana Village and Lodge, Dhruba Giri, said that all the rooms of the lodge are occupied.</p>
<p>
Most of the tourists here are from Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan. Majority of the tourists visit here for jeep safari, elephant safari, jungle walk, boating among others.</p>
<p>
Kasara Resort’s Director Sonam Sherpa shared that Patihani also received a considerable number internal tourists.</p>
<p>
There are more than 110 small and big hotels in Sauraha, a major tourism destination in Chitwan. Likewise, there are more than two dozens of big hotels and resorts in Patihani and Meghauli.</p>
