The website aims to attract Nepali diaspora and friends of Nepal abroad to be the virtual travel agents (VTA) and participate actively in sending tourists to Nepal. The website says it has an integrated built-in system to assist VTAs and the end-clients to create their own customized travel packages for Nepal.</p>

Deepesh Man Shakya, the founder of TMM Nepal, informed New Business Age that the website assists to select options according to the interest and choice of the clients. Once the selection is submitted, the service providers including tour operators, trekking agencies, and hotels etc who have subscribed to TMM Nepal will get information about the clients with a customized package trip which includes only the things they are interested based on their selection.</p>
<p>
“The selection is similar to that of an online shopping portal adding our preferred items into the wish list,” Shakya added. </p>
<p>
TMM Nepal also has a mechanism to provide commission, from service providers, to VTAs. Besides, it provides an opportunity for service providers to submit their services and sell them to potential clients of TMM Nepal.</p>

The website of TMM Nepal consists of various holiday and trekking packages, information including things to do and things to see in Nepal along with the details of shopping centers, hotels, restaurants and many more.</p>
<p>
The main goal of the website is to encourage Nepali diaspora to participate in promotion of tourism in Nepal by getting something in return rather than doing it on a voluntary basis.</p>
<p>
Shakya firmly believes that the former approach should be the mainstream tourism promotion driver to meet the target of bringing in 2 million tourists during the Visit Nepal Year 2020.</p>
