The NMA has already spent Rs 4 million for the peak profile project in two and a half years since undertaking the task but has not submitted the progress report to the department. The NMA has claimed that it has completed 70 percent of the work in the project.</p>

The 55<sup>th</sup> annual report of the Office of the Auditor General has also stated that the works carried out by the NMA is not trustworthy. </p>

Dhundiraj Ghimire, director general of the department, has said that the budget won’t be released this year until the NMA shows noteworthy progress in its work.</p>
<p>
“The peak profile project is not satisfactory so we will not release budget anytime soon,” he said.</p>
