February 17: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted rainfall from Monday although most parts of the country witnessed a slight improvement in weather due to sunshine on Sunday morning.</p>

The division has forecast thundershowers in one or two parts of the country in late afternoon on Sunday due to the impact of westerly wind.</p>
<p>
According to meteorologist Manju Basi, the new system of westerly wind is entering Nepal from Monday morning, bringing light to moderate rainfall in most parts of the country. Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) reported that there is chances of light snowfall at some places.</p>
<p>
The sky throughout Sunday night will largely remain clear, according to the division, but there are chances of brief rain and thundershowers in few places of the western hills of Nepal.</p>
