The black topping work on the road will begin from coming March, according to chief of the Beni-Jomsom-Korala road, Mukunda Adhikari.</p>
<p>
“Work is now taking place in four packages on the road, with 40 per cent of physical progress and the blacktopping will begin next month,” RSS quoted Adhikari as saying. <br />
</p>
<p>
The Beni-Jomsom-Korala road is a national pride project, which has achieved 55 per cent progress. Work on the 186-kilometer Beni to Korala road is also taking place in 11 packages, RSS further reported. </p>
<p>

Adhikari also claimed that the upgrading of the Jomsom-Korala road will be completed within the current fiscal year, except for the construction of motorable bridges. </p>
